At Coastside Kids, Inc. dba Picasso Preschool our goals are to LISTEN, GUIDE, NURTURE, and EDUCATE in a loving and healthy environment. To LISTEN with an open heart and mind, to help in the development of each child's personality. Listening to a child aids in the development of the sense of trust, the feelings of being understood, loved, and secured. This process of sharing by the child and listening by the teacher helps promote a sense of well-being in each characteristic of every child's personality. To GUIDE in the development of the individual child to the best of his/her own abilities. To look and value the whole child as an individual to better understand all physical, mental, and social characteristics.
Picasso Preschool has three preschool programs that are divided by age. We offer different schedule options to fit your needs. All of our curriculum is designed by our dedicated teachers to inspire our students to learn, to think, to ask questions, and to have fun. Children at Picasso are encouraged to tackle new challenges and advance the skills they will need for kindergarten and beyond.
The health and safety of the children in our care is our top priority. Picasso Preschool will follow special COVID-19 health and safety protocols which are developed based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, and direction from state and local public authorities.
Picasso has always operated with stringent health and hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting, and illness exclusion policies because regular health and hygiene practices provide some of the best defenses against the spread of contagious illnesses.
